Helping Parents Find Child Care

Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions families make, but all too often they must rely on word-of-mouth. Child Care Resources helps parents take the guesswork out of choosing care by providing:

  • referrals to local child care providers
  • information on state licensing requirements
  • information on availability of child care subsidies
  • guidance by phone, in person, and in other ways, such as the internet, that are tailored to each individual family.

Child Care Enhancement Program (CCEP) helps parents and providers who have children that may be struggling in child care.

CCEP is a free statewide consultation program that helps families and child care providers support infant and toddler social, emotional, and behavioral health.  Support for families and child care providers is offered in a variety of formats, including phone and e-mail consultation, on-site consultation, and get-togethers."
