COURSE DESCRIPTION

There’s a nature deficit epidemic in America. The National Wildlife Federation says that the “American childhood is going down the wrong path, one that is increasingly neither green nor outdoors” and that at stake is their health and happiness. YOU can make a difference by getting kids back outside where they belong and helping them lead happier, healthier, longer lives! We will discuss the benefits of outdoor nature play and strategies for creating nature based play spaces for children in your outdoor play spaces.
