Licensed Exempt Providers
Finding suitable child care can be challenging for families, particularly when special circumstances—such as the need for non-traditional care hours—are involved. License Exempt Providers offer a valuable solution to many of these challenges. These providers are adults who care for children either in their own homes (if related to the child) or in the child’s home (if unrelated).
Great Start to Quality supports license-exempt providers with training, resources, and guidance.

- Health and Safety Visits for unrelated LEP providers.
